Real Estate Broker Married 1
After graduation I attended Western Michigan University earning a secondary eduacation teaching degree.  However the lure of business sidetracked me and I never taught a day in my life.  Instead I spent 25 years in the restaurant business mostly in the Indianapolis area, where I met my wife Clare.  Moved back to Michigan in 1987 and shortly thereafter started my real estate career.  Presently, I work mainly with investor and landlord clients, and manage a portfolio of rental property with my daughter, Allison.  Retirement is on the horizon and I look forward to a slower pace and spending more time wih my grandson Brady.

I graduated from WMU in 1973 and joined the Navy. I received my wings and completed 10 years active duty. I met and married my wife, Shirley, 39 years ago in New Orleans, while on active duty. I stayed in the Naval Reserve another 11 plus years before I retired with a total of 21 years of service with the rank of Commander. After active duty, I worked for Texas Instruments / Raytheon Company in the Dallas area on many defence programs. The most notable was the F-117 Steath Fighter and the F/A-18 Super Hornet. It was hard for me, but I retired in September of 2017 with 33 years of service. We have one daughter, Erin, an aerospace engineer who lives in Jupiter, Florida, with her husband Joe. We have lived in Plano, Texas since 1984.

I like to SCUBA, kayak, fish, and go to my cabin in the UP. My wife and I have travelled 6 times to Europe and also cruised to both coasts of Mexico.
